Route 99 and Crocuses at Hidden Valley
We will travel up Highway 6 and then follow Route 99 along the Qu’Appelle Valley looking for bluebirds and other spring migrants.

About the Event
Time: 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Meet at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum parking lot.

We will travel up Highway 6 and then follow Route 99 along the Qu’Appelle Valley looking for bluebirds and other spring migrants. We will then cross the valley and hike at our Hidden Valley Sanctuary to find the Prairie Crocus, Moss Phlox and perhaps a few other spring wildflowers. Some may wish to have a picnic lunch at Hidden valley before returning home, others may leave directly.
Bring cameras and take photos at Hidden Valley for possible submission for the 2025 calendar. Bring water, a snack or lunch and binoculars. Wear good hiking shoes and dress warmly. All ages and skill levels welcome.
