About the Event

The walk will describe the efforts and actions of residents and the City of Regina to

fix and rejuvenate the Riverside Dyke. The talk will document the 13 years of work to develop what is

now an example of bioengineering, flood control and public engagement. We will see the dyke in all

its splendor and explore various flood proofing techniques used in Regina. We may see some

interesting wildlife.
