The Get Outside! Kids Club is a free outdoor education program offered by Nature Regina, Nature Saskatchewan, SaskOutdoors and WILD Outside (Canadian Wildlife Federation) for children and their parent/guardian between the ages of 6 and 13. We are asking you to sign up for five sessions at a time.

About the Event

The Get Outside! Kids Club is a free outdoor education program offered by Nature Regina, Nature Saskatchewan, SaskOutdoors and WILD Outside (Canadian Wildlife Federation) for children and their parent/caregiver between the ages of 6 and 13. We are asking you to sign up for five sessions from February to June.

Once a month we'll explore a new park and open space in and around Regina and participate in a variety of outdoor education activities. From February to June, we'll be exploring Les Sherman Park, Lakeridge Park North, Wascana Park and Kinsmen Park South.

Activities from February to June will include dye making and paint making with natural materials, snow sculptures, winter snow kitchen, cyanotype natural art, nature hikes, snowshoeing, orienteering, introduction to fire making, introduction to beekeeping,  Indigenous land based learning from Indigenous educators and learning about edible, medicinal and Indigenous plants.

You are registering for the following dates:

Tuesday, February 15th 10:00-noon

Les Sherman Park

Tuesday, March 22nd 10:00-noon

Lakeridge Park North

Tuesday, April 19th 10:00-noon

Wascana Park (by the Saskatchewan Science Centre)

Tuesday, May 31st 10:00-noon

Kinsmen Park South

Tuesday, June 14th 10:00-noon

Wascana Park (by the Royal Saskatchewan Museum)
