About the Event

Join Phil Johnson, Master Organic Gardener as he describes the process of transforming the 11th Avenue Art Park including how to work with the City of Regina, local community association's and community volunteers to make positive change in our neighbourhoods. Phil will also provide information about the gardening techniques he used to transform this space as well as the best plants to grow in Regina conditions. Shannon Chernick from the WILD Outside program with the Canadian Wildlife Federation will also share about the experience of the youth volunteers that are transforming this park and their pride in participating in this project.
