About the Event

Leader: Jared Clarke


We will start by walking to the lake and scanning for water birds. Then we will swing back around the Leg watching for songbirds. We will walk over to the Totem pole area and scan for birds on Spruce Island and on the water. We will see a number of duck and grebe species, as well sparrow species like White-throated Sparrows and Harris's Sparrows and some late migrating warblers.


Walking distance will be 2-4 km along the roads and paths of Wascana Park.


Bring binoculars if you have them. All ages and skill levels welcome.
