Meet at Royal Saskatchewan Museum parking lot at 1:00 P.M. or join us at Hidden Valley Parking area at
1:30 P.M. We expect to return between 4:00 and 4:30 P.M.
We will hike a couple of the trails at Hidden valley looking for early spring wildflowers as well as spring
birds. We will walk in some of the forested coulee bottoms and up on the grasslands and ridges. Hidden
Valley is, as most members know, owned by Nature Regina. In recent years we have developed several
trails to facilitate access to the property. Hidden Valley is beautiful area and an excellent area to see
wildflowers. The warm weather should bring a number of species into bloom.
The guided hike will go from valley bottom to the valley top, but a shorter trail option is available for
anyone who may find the hike to the valley top to strenuous. Wear suitable shoes and bring a water
bottle. Everyone is welcome.
Covid Protocol: To reduce risk of transmission, masks are required when people are in close contact
with people outside of their normal bubble. Masks are not required when people are separated, and
we encourage people to spread out and maintain a social distance during the event. All participants
should have a mask and put it on if, for example, they are crowding together to look at an insect or
flower.
