We’ll walk 2 km through the area’s different habitats, including the zone’s 800-meter trail with slight elevation changes. Bring binoculars/cameras for some of the many bird species found here. Last trip we did near this date, we found 20 species of birds. We will also see a variety of different plant species. Carpooling possible, please pay driver $8 for gas. All ages and skill levels welcome, bring a snack/water and we can drop in to the Kinsmen Wellesley shelter afterwards, and check out the bird feeder just N of there.


Meet at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum Parking Lot and carpool, departure at 10:00 AM. Can also meet at the Kingsway Ecological Zone at 10:45 am (1/3 km S of the junction of Valleyview Drive and 7th Ave SW, Moose Jaw).


Bring binoculars if you have them. All ages and skill levels welcome.
