February Monthly Meeting 2022

The Saskatchewan Breeding Bird Atlas is a five-year project aimed at assessing the status and distribution of birds that nest across the province. As we wrap up the data collection phase we celebrate the people, and highlight the birds, places, and special moments encountered during this monumental effort to document Saskatchewan’s birds. We also present the coverage achieved, share a sneak peek at some very preliminary maps, and discuss next steps as we move into the publication phase. The Atlas is possible thanks to the collaborative effort of volunteer citizen scientists, a small contingent of staff and partners, and the generous contributions of supporters
