About the Event

Meet on the Northwest corner of AE Wilson Park at the parking lot at Dorothy St and 5th Ave.

Spring is in the air in AE Wilson Park! Songbirds congregate in the trees, and waterfowl quickly crowd the islands and shoreline. The beavers begin their active season, and the local lichens are finally taking on color. Join the YQR Naturalist, Dave Drummond, for a brisk afternoon stroll through the songs and sounds of spring in the park. Rubber boots might be required. Walking distance will be 2-3 km along paved and gravel paths. Bring binoculars if you have them. Everyone is welcome
