Birding at the North end of Last Mountain Lake

This is peak migration time in Saskatchewan! We should be able to tally over 70 species during this trip especially if warblers are present at the regional park. We will start the trip by driving up to the Last Mountain Lake Regional Park, with a visit to the Last Mountain Bird Observatory.

About the Event
Time: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Meet at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum parking lot.

This is peak migration time in Saskatchewan! We should be able to tally over 70 species during this trip especially if warblers are present at the regional park. We will start the trip by driving up to the Last Mountain Lake Regional Park, with a visit to the Last Mountain Bird Observatory. Then we will walk the Grasslands Trail on the National Wildlife Area and check out the area around the NWA headquarters. Bring a lunch, as well as binoculars and a spotting scope if you have them. All ages and skill levels welcome. Carpooling possible, please pay driver $10 for gas.
