About the Event

Join Jordan Rustad, Field Biologist and Bird Bander from the Last Mountain Bird Observatory as you explore little known green spaces in Regina. 

This week will be an exploration of A.E. Wilson Park.

You will learn to spot some of the 30 or so birds that make Regina home during the winter. How do birds survive -50? Which bird species live here in winter? How do the plants and trees make it possible for birds to survive winter?

Travel by snowshoe or on foot during the Outdoor Explorer Event. Explore your city in a new way!

COVID 19 safety precautions are in place including mandatory masking (even though we are outside), social distancing, hand sanitizing and responding to COVID 19 symptom checker questions in advance of the event.
