About the Event

The event will include an introduction to native plants at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum Native Plant Garden and a flower scavenger hunt. We’ll then walk to meet and chat with the local “Boulevard Gardeners” in the Crescents. Another short walk to Cameron Street to an abandoned lot that has been converted into a native plant garden.

You’ll also go home with two Giant Hyssop plants and a packet of native plant seeds if you would like. The Giant Hyssops have been very well cared for by Al Bodnarchuk over the last few months and we would like to make sure they go to a great new home!

We have COVID 19 Health and Safety guidelines in place to ensure the safety of participants and our volunteer field trip helpers including mandatory masking (we provide masks), hand sanitizing, answering self-assessment COVID 19 questions at the beginning of the event and social distancing. Please RSVP to confirm your spot at this event.

Anyone interested in native plant gardens or just wanting an interesting outing on a Saturday morning are invited to attend! Please feel free to send this invitation to any gardeners that you know. This invitation is open to all interested gardeners! You do not need to have a Nature Regina membership to attend.  Let’s get outside and have an outdoor adventure! Join the get outside movement in Regina!
