About the Event

We will have 7 groups of 10 people led by a bird expert at various locations around Wascana Lake counting birds. 

Masks are mandatory. Binoculars are available. 

After the 1 hour walk participants will be invited to grab a snack and attend a Zoom meeting at 3pm to share their bird counts and photos. Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation will be giving a live animal presentation. 

Wheelchair accessible route is available. French translation is available. A shortened 30 min route is available for kids 5 years and under.

You will receive an email from Nature Saskatchewan on Friday January 1st with the meeting location and zoom link.

Please register all members of your family group. We will have one to two family groups led by a trained volunteer. For pandemic safety - Mandatory masking, hand sanitizing, social distancing and responding to COVID 19 symptom checker questions are in place.
