Urban Wildlife Project

You can assist in urban ecological research.

The Urban Wildlife Institute is a first-of-its-kind network of urban wildlife researchers, educators, and advocates who collect data to help solve the biodiversity crisis facing our world today. It is currently comprised of 24 cities across the US and Canada and is steadily growing as the largest network of systematic urban ecological research in existence today.

They are looking to engage Regina residents in a citizen science project that will both facilitate a deeper connection with nature and inform wildlife management and pest control within city limits.
