Saskatchewan Snakes

Have you seen bull snakes in Saskatchewan?

Noah Johnson, U of R MSc student and a recent guest speaker for Nature Regina, is studying bull snakes in Saskatchewan. Noah is working with Dr. Christopher Somers, (University of Regina), and Dr. Ray Poulin, (Royal Saskatchewan Museum), and is asking Nature Regina members and friends to report any bull snake sightings. This information will be used to help better understand the distribution of this understudied species in our province.  The following information is really useful:

  • Description:   (e.g. adult snake roughly 1m in length seen crossing the road)

  • Observer:

  • Date or date range:

  • Location: (coordinates or land locations are great, but a good description of the general area will do also)

  • Any other interesting details or notes:
